Where do you deliver?

We ship goods using an overnight carrier to addresses on the UK mainland.

We also offer shipping to the following destinations with extended delivery times:

Two-Day Delivery:

  • Jersey
  • Guernsey
  • Isles of Scilly
  • Scottish Islands
  • Scottish Highlands
  • Isle of Man

Next-Day Delivery:

  • Northern Ireland

* To qualify for standard delivery, orders must be placed by 12:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. Orders submitted after this time will be shipped on the next business day and delivered the following day.

**For Saturday delivery, orders must be placed by 12:00 PM on Friday.

When will I get my order?

We ship with an overnight carrier to GB mainland addresses. Deliveries are made Tuesday to Saturday, and you’ll receive a text with the expected delivery time once your order is dispatched.

How will my order be delivered?

We ship all orders via DPD, our trusted courier partner.

Orders are packed in insulated Woolcool boxes with ice packs, designed to keep chilled items at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours in transit.

Ambient products (room temperature) are packed alongside, cushioned and secure.

You’ll receive tracking updates by email or text from DPD once your parcel is on the way.

What if I’m not home when the delivery arrives?

If you’re not in, DPD will follow any safe place instructions you leave at checkout (e.g., porch, neighbour, garage).

If no instructions are provided, they’ll typically re-attempt delivery or deliver to a nearby pickup point.

We recommend adding a mobile number at checkout so you receive real-time updates and redelivery options from DPD.

How should I store my products after delivery?

Chilled items should be refrigerated as soon as possible after arrival.

Our insulated packaging keeps them cold in transit, but they should go in the fridge promptly.

Pantry items should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

All items are clearly labelled with storage guidance and best-before or use-by dates.

What is your cancellation and returns policy?

You can cancel your order for a full refund as long as it hasn’t been dispatched.

To cancel, email us at shop@mercatopronto.uk as soon as possible.

Once an order has shipped, we unfortunately cannot accept returns on food items for safety and hygiene reasons.

That said, if anything arrives damaged, incorrect or not up to standard, please contact us and we’ll put it right.
