Powerful red wine from dried Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes. Deep ruby‐garnet colour; aromas of black cherry, plum and sour morello. Warm, full and elegantly balanced after long oak ageing.

Wine Details

Colour: dark red, garnet rim

Aroma: cherry, plum, black cherry, light spice

Palate: rich and supple, firm tannin, long dried-fruit finish

Food pairing: roasted or grilled red meats, game, aged cheeses

Technical specs: 70 % Corvina / Corvinone, 30 % Rondinella and minors. Grapes sun-dried in crates, ferment in January, aged in oak. ABV 16 % (vintage dependent). Serve 18–20 °C. Contains sulphites.

About The Producer

Corte Lenguin farms ten hectares on the limestone slopes of Valpolicella Classica. Founded by Silvio Vantini in the early 1900s and now run by his grandson, the estate dries its best hand-picked grapes each autumn, crafting Amarone and Recioto that have earned acclaim across Europe and North America.
